Various resources and health information which may help you talk with your child on health issues are also available through our Health Information & Resources Service at Afton House, Ailsa Hospital Campus; open from 09:00 until 17:00 Monday to Friday.
These resources are available to health professionals and members of the public and are accessible by ‘phone, in person or on line. You can view what is available at www.healthinfoshop.scot.nhs.uk and click on Resources on-line. The resources department can be contacted on 01292 885925.
NHS Ayrshire and Arran and Ayrshire and Arran Libraries have put together a selection of books to help you discuss growing up, puberty, sex and sexual health and wellbeing with your child. Look out for the "Talk About It" booklist in your local library.
